Brett Steingo
Co-founder & Mentor
Brett has been a member of Civitas since 2020 and currently serves the community as a mentor and facilitator. He is also an active member of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), a founding member of The Lekker Network and a member of the Institute of Directors SA (IODSA). He has bootstrapped multiple startups, two of which have grown to over $10m (USD) in revenue. His investment portfolio includes startups in South Africa, Mauritius, the UK and USA.
Caoilfhionn van der Walt
Co-founder & Facilitator
Caoilfhionn (pronounced KEE-lin) has been a member of Civitas since 2024, EO since 2021 and serves as a mentor on the Mauritian incubator — La Plage Factory. She is the Founder and Managing Director of international tax consultancy — Regan Van Rooy. Caoilfhionn currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of IFS and Le Gaz Industriels.
Rochelle van Greunen
Co-founder & Managing Director
Rochelle is a Chartered Accountant (CA SA) and tax consultant. She is the Founder and CEO of Axia Consulting, established in 2019. She has been a member of Civitas since 2024, having relocated to Mauritius in 2026.
